For the most basic preparedness, this means: collecting important data in one, easily accessible location. having a basic Family Emergency Kit and Plan ready. The Emergency Preparedness Checklist and Guide provides you a means to collect necessary information in the one piece of equipment you always have on you - your phone. - After Disaster Prep is downloaded, you'll see an INSTALL button to the right. Tap on it to start the actual installation of the iOS app.
- Once installation is finished you can tap on the OPEN button to start it. Its icon will also be added to your device home screen.
